What is Point Forward?
The Point Forward podcast, hosted by former NBA teammates and current best friends ANDRE IGUODALA and EVAN TURNER, uses basketball as a pretext to talk honestly and openly about business, culture, race, tech, and, yes, sports.
Specifically, over the course of weekly hour-long episodes that drop on #pointforwardfriday, Iguodala and Turner, discuss and debate current national and global events in a way that is meant to resonate with everyone from the Silicon Valley elite to teenagers on the south side of Chicago. After walking through those weekly Topics, the co-hosts, respected for their basketball and business acumen, host a weekly guest drawn from the worlds of business, culture, sports and tech.
Now in its second season, Point Forward, led by its hosts Iguodala and Turner, is taking the athlete conversation to the next level.

About the Hosts
ANDRE IGUODALA, a 19-year veteran of the NBA, has made his mark as one of the league’s premier players. A four-time NBA Champion with the Golden State Warriors, former All- Star and two-time Olympic Gold Medalist, he’s also found success in the business world with entrepreneurial ventures in technology and e-commerce.
Known for his savvy business instincts, Andre has been at the forefront of venture capital and technology. He has invested in more than 50 companies, is a partner in a venture fund and is a co-owner of the Leeds United Football Club of the English Premier League. Andre has served on the National Basketball Players Association executive committee since 2015, and currently acts as its First Vice President. He’s a New York Times bestselling author, golfer, philanthropist, and family man.
EVAN TURNER, a graduate of The Ohio State University, is a former first-team AP All-American and National Player of the Year. Evan was the 2nd overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft, selected by the Philadelphia 76ers. Following his 10-year NBA career as a player, he served as an assistant coach for the Boston Celtics.
Turner is an experienced investor with a diverse portfolio which includes commercial real-estate holdings, commodities, fashion-retail, cryptocurrency, and technology. Currently living in Columbus, OH, Evan has a strong commitment to philanthropic endeavors there and in his hometown of Chicago, IL.
